It doesn't matter.. i guess i should be grateful for the head up..at least i didn't feel emo today.. furthermore, i wasn't really that upset.. i think i am getting more thankful for the little things in life..

when i was in JC, a pretty gal who had just broken up with her bf told me a story about a leaf..

A leaf was always attached to a tree... the tree provided nutrients and water for the leave..

One fine day, the leaf still left the tree..

Many were unclear abt why did leaf left the tree..

Was it due to the pursuit of the wind? But why did the tree not ask the leaf to stay?

things happen for a reason..

Sometimes we just cannot understand why seemingly bad things happened to us.. Because we believe that we are good humans and only good things should befall unto good humans..

Interestingly, I am grateful for the 2 things that had happened..

Banking sales
Most girls want to be an air stewardess or work in banking sales, so that they can doll themselves up for work.. These are glamourous jobs.. I am one of these girls.. sadly, the more glamorous a job appears, the more shitty it's.. After doing banking sales, it really shaped me into someone who would try to look beyond the surface.. Sometimes shiny and loud things do still attract my attention..

Relationship with people
I was quite a bad person in Uni. =P
Too many things happened and most of the times I was at my wits' end.. For some reasons, I hated alot of things and people.. I was pretty indifferent to people and things around me.. Thankfully, my best friend, XL, helped me in the most practical manner.. My other friend, KW, also helped me alot.. So basically I was nice only to them.. Or at least I thought I was nice to them.. Haha..
Nevertheless, I still had a brunch of lecture khakis who were and are very nice to me, even when sometimes I wasn't exactly nice to them..
A very sad incident happened and I reflected alot thereafter.. Itwas a rude shock to me.. I never believe that love could deplete with time.. At my somehow lowest point in life, I went for a sermon.. The pastor preached about Grace.. With Grace, we are showered with unconditional love.. Due to this abundant love, we will feel undeserving and thus will reciprocate..The cycle of love's a natural reaction..
Now I am still not exactly a very loving person.. But I know who loves me and I want to love them back too.. @least I am trying my best..

Things had happened for a reason.. and I believed that they had shaped me into a better person(hopefully)..

I really love eating @ pretty breakfast places =) Ytd went to choupinette @ bukit timah with bf.. got alot of things on the menu that were yum yum..

was deciding between their famous egg Benedict or those sandwiches for lunch.. ended up both of us bought the lunch set..

I like this kind of blackboard thing with chef recommendations..

croque-monsieur with chicken.. have been playing a cafe apps.. in tt apps, i hv baked countless croque-monsieur but ytd was the first time i tried it.. damn yummy.. it's coated with melted cheese.. yums..

bf order smoked salmon sandwich.. not bad too..

bf & i exchanged 1 of our sandwiches so we can taste 2 different kinds of sandwiches..

life's transient.. the pain of yester-years has been forgotten.. the shield around my heart has been fortified.. no one can hurt my heart now.. it took so much time and tears for the wound to heal.. sometimes i wonder if it has been completely healed..
